Biggest Disappointments of SS10

I have already gone through my personal favorite looks from the SS10 Ready to Wear shows…
So here are, in my opinion, the biggest disappointments of the season.

LOUIS VUITTON

The giant wigs at Louis Vuitton do not serve as proper distraction from the horrid styling and the Mongolian fur sandals…

CHANEL

Clogs really do not do it for me. Overall it looked like a huge kitschy mess, although there were a few great pieces, everything that was going on around the models seems too distracting.

UNGARO

Proof that Lindsay Lohan should not be designing clothing.

CHLOE

Shapeless & Boring

NINA RICCI

Lacked cohesiveness & wearability.

MARGIELA

Margiela is one of my favorite designers, this was a huge disappointment, especially in comparison to the last few seasons.

Lauren Santo Domingo (formerly Lauren Davis) is undoubtedly one of the most chic, sophisticated women in fashion. She sticks to clean lines and mostly neutral color palettes. Lauren has been featured on Style.com’s Top 10 Best Dressed List countless times.
Lauren currently works as a contributing editor for US Vogue.

I have been following Chantal from Coco Rosa with a close eye, she is one of my favorite bloggers. This look is very sweet, very 60’s, & very London. Love the crest detail on the coat.

Anna Dello Russo knows a thing or two about shape & color.

Love the slouchy pants paired with the Hermes belt (and of course the red Louis)

Thigh high socks with garters can go very right or very wrong.
This girl knows that pairing them with something masculine like a boyfriend blazer makes them completely daytime appropriate.

Emanuelle Alt can do no wrong.
